Triantafyllos M. Triantafyllou MD, PhD
Dr. Triantafyllos M. Triantafyllou was born in Athens in 1968. He graduated from the Higher Medical Institute of Sofia-Bulgaria in 1994 with honors (5.60/ 6).
He specialized in Neurosurgery at the General Hospital of Nikaia – Piraeus and obtained the title of qualified Neurosurgeon in 2005. He worked at Iaso General, Henry Dunant and Iaso Hospitals until 2011. Subsequently, he worked for a number of years at N.H.S of Greece as Consultant Neurosurgeon at Volos General Hospital, Attikon University Hospital and Lamia General Hospital.
He is graduated as PhD from the Medical Departement of the University of Thessaly (with a grade of Excellent).
He has attended a large number of Greek and international Post-Graduate Seminars, Workshops and Training courses. He is a trainer of Neurosurgeons in international Workshops and has published papers in International and Greek Medical Journals. He was a teacher-trainer at the Vocational Education and Training Organization (O.E.E.K.), as well as an examiner-grader of the Vocational Training Certification Exams in various specialties of health professions of the Greek Ministry of Education. He is a Member of International and Greek Scientific Societies and Committees. His fields of practice are: Brain Surgery, Spine Surgery, Peripheral Nerve Surgery and Neurosurgical Traumatology.
