Aliki Economides PhD
Dr. Aliki Economides (PhD, MSc) is a Registered Clinical Psychologist (Registration Number: 555) and holds a PhD (PhD Sciences of the Mind) from the University of Italy Università degli Studi della Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”. She holds an MSc in Clinical Psychology from European University Cyprus (EUC), an MSc in Health Psychology from University College London (UCL) and King’s College London (KCL) and a degree in Psychology (BSc Psychology) from The University of Manchester (UoM). She did most of her internship at the Psychiatric Clinic of Nicosia General Hospital and the Therapeutic Community “Agia Skepi” .At the Psychiatric Clinic she performed a large number of therapeutic interventions and came into clinical contact with a multitude of cases from the spectrum of Mental Disorders. At the Therapeutic Community “Agia Skepi” she worked with users of substance abuse and addiction with the aim of providing them with skills necessary for social reintegration.In 2019 she worked at the “Association for the Prevention and Handling of Violence in the Family” (SPAVO) as an operator of the “Helpline 1440” and served as the Clinical Psychologist of the intervention program for perpetrators of domestic violence. She is a supporter of animal welfare.
